Overview
The Argentine Snaffle - 3/8" Sweet Iron, Low Port features 6" cheeks and a 5" mouthpiece that measures 3/8" in diameter. The Argentine Snaffle is very popular in low leverage bits. This mouthpiece was added to this bit because trainers and riders are finding that solid mouthpieces help control horses that tend to over-flex by keeping their shoulder under them. The low port adds some tongue pressure while the small diameter of the mouth adds some control.
