Overview
The Combination Gag Hackamore is stainless steel and features 10" cheeks with a 5" sweet iron, twisted wire mouth. It also has a leather wrapped noseband, headstall hangers and includes the curb chain with hooks. The sweet iron mouthpiece is intended to rust and produces a sweet taste as rusting occurs. This helps encourage salivation from the horse and acceptance of the bit.
With its leather wrapped nose and twisted wire bit, this Combination Gag Hackamore offers more leverage. It is designed to create pressure on the lower part of the horse's head, usually just above the nose, to control both speed and direction of the horse. The side pull of the shanks tucks the nose to the inside and helps the horse rate a barrel.
Comes with hooks and chain.
