Overview
The stainless steel Double Hinged Uxeter Kimberwick Bit features a jointed mouthpiece with a copper roller. The copper roller encourages relaxation and salivation which can help calm a nervous or bored horse. A benefit of the double hinged mouthpiece is that it creates downward pressure on the tongue yet still allows the horse to swallow.
It features two slots in the rings which allows two rein positions. The placement of the rein on the lower slot produces more leverage and acts like a curb. If the reins are placed in the upper slot the bit will act like a snaffle.
This bit has a mouth thickness of 14mm.
