The Correction Kimberwick Bit is stainless steel and features a copper swivel port mouthpiece. The copper port encourages relaxation and salivation which can help calm a nervous or bored horse. This mouthpiece is designed to apply slight tongue pressure while flat and roll away to give tongue relief when pressure is applied. This also encourages the horse to break over at the poll. The correction mouthpiece is ideal for "tuning" and "lightening" a horse up when it gets too heavy and needs something a little extra.

It features two slots in the rings which allows two rein positions. The placement of the rein on the lower slot produces more leverage and acts like a curb. If the reins are placed in the upper slot the bit will act like a snaffle.

The Correction Kimberwick Bit has a 5" mouthpiece with the bars and port measuring 1/2" in diameter. The port height is 1 1/2".
