Overview
The Kelly Silver Star - Mullen Mouth Grazer Bit With Copper Mouthpiece is stainless steel and features 8 1/2" fixed cheeks with a 5" mouthpiece that measures 1/2" in diameter. The mullen mouth works from pressure on the horses bars rather than the tongue. Copper encourages salivation while the mullen mouth allows some room for the tongue. Since the mullen mouth provides extra space for the tongue, instead of constantly pushing into it, this results in more tongue relief. This is a good bit for horses with damaged mouths.
