The Kimberwick - 1/2" California Pleasure Port features a mouthpiece that is designed to make a horse light and supple. It will also help break a horse over at the poll and to stabilize the shoulders in horses that try to over flex. This bit also has the Golden Glide connection which helps smooth the movement of the cheekpieces for better feel and performance. It also helps eliminate the chance of pinching your horse's lip.

The Kimberwick  - 1/2' California Pleasure Port is a handmade and hand buffed English-Western crossover bit. Many months were spent with top trainers in designing and field testing these bits. This bit has 3 1/2" cheeks and a 5" sweet iron mouthpiece that measures 1/2" in diameter.  

This Kimberwick bit features two slots in the rings which allows two rein positions. The placement of the rein on the lower slot produces more leverage and acts like a curb. If the reins are placed on the upper slot the bit will act like a snaffle.
