This stainless steel Large D Ring Snaffle Bit features a mullen barrel mouthpiece with copper inlay and hooks. The mullen barrel mouthpiece means it is a curved or half-moon shaped piece of metal. It places even pressure on the mouthpiece, bars and lips which makes it very mild. It also features a jointed center barrel and copper inlay which tends to help horses relax their mouth and encourage salivation.

The hooks offer leverage which allows a rider to use less rein pressure and independent side movement within the mouthpiece. This allows a rider to isolate one side of the bit which works well for lifting a shoulder, balancing, bending and collection. Hooks also conveniently allow you to secure the headstall and reins at the best position and keep them stabilized.
