Overview
This stainless steel Large D Ring Snaffle Bit features a 5" ported barrel mouthpiece with copper inlay to encourage salivation. The ported barrel mouthpiece applies downward pressure on the tongue yet still gives plenty of tongue relief when the horse bends at the poll. The ported barrel mouthpiece also permits the horse to swallow more freely.
The hooks offer leverage which allows a rider to use less rein pressure and independent side movement within the mouthpiece. This allows a rider to isolate one side of the bit which works well for lifting a shoulder, balancing, bending and collection. Hooks also conveniently allow you to secure the headstall and reins at the best position and keep them stabilized.
