Overview
The Mullen Mouth Pelham Bit is stainless steel with a mullen mouthpiece. The mullen mouth reduces the impact of the bit by placing even pressure on the bars and tongue. It also provides extra space for the tongue, instead of constantly pushing into it, resulting in more tongue relief. When used with a double set of reins it combines the function of a snaffle and the action of a curb bit.
This bit has a mouth thickness of 14mm.
