Pelham
We offer a wide selection of pelham horse bits. There is a great variety of sizes and styles to choose from all at affordable prices. A pelham horse bit has the elements of a curb bit and a snaffle bit which makes it function similar to a double bridle. An English pelham bit is often used when a horse cannot hold the bradoon and weymouth bit combination comfortably. It is also used in place of a double bridle, when a rider desires double reins but not two bits. A pelham can also be used with one pair of reins by using a bit converter. A pelham bit is sometimes used in both English and western disciplines, although it is most often used in the English riding disciplines and for polo.
