Snaffle Bits
We offer a wide variety of snaffle horse bits. With the many different styles and sizes to choose from you are sure to find a perfect fit for your horse. Snaffle bits create direct pressure without leverage on the mouth (no shanks). Snaffle bits work on several parts of a horses mouth. The mouthpiece acts on the tongue and bars, the horses lips also feel pressure from both the rings and mouthpiece. The rings also act on the side of the mouth and sometimes the sides of the jawbone depending on the bit design.
