The Straight Reiner - 1/2" California Pleasure Port is a reasonably high leverage shank when ridden with a tight curb or a medium leverage if ridden with a looser curb. The mouthpiece is designed to make the horse light and supple and will also help the horse to break over at the poll. This is an excellent bit for training.
The Straight Reiner - 1/2" California Pleasure Port also features the Golden Glide connection which helps smooth the movement of the cheek piece for better feel and performance. It also helps eliminate the chance of pinching your horse's lip. This bit has 8" cheeks and a 5" mouthpiece that measures 1/2" in diameter.
